 Capacity Builders Modernisation Fund Under the auspices of Capacity Builders Modernisation Fund SBD Associates was selected by four organisations in Devon to work with them on strengthening themselves through cooperation or merger. If appropriate the organisation having agreed a clear way forward could apply for a larger Phase 2 funding package to carry out the activity. As of early November 2009 the first of the organisations to be helped – Pembroke Street and Zebra Collective – had been admitted to Phase 2 and SBD is now working with them on the implementation of their plan. As of 2010 the Plough and Share and South West Pound credit unions in North Devon have also been admitted to Phase 2 and SBD will be working with them on the marketing element of their plan. The other phase one client was the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. | |
