 West of England Aerospace Forum SBD Associates is working with the West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF) in Bristol on its Supply Chain project (SC21). The project is to encourage through financial support training within the aerospace supply chain in the South West to bring companies up to the highest industry standards. WEAF is managing the project and SBD is working with them to put in place the monitoring and reporting mechanisms needed to ensure the project meets its outcomes and targets and that the South West Regional Development Agency obtains the information it needs to release the funding. At regular intervals throughout the project we will also be monitoring the returns both to ensure the system is working properly and to determine whether the project is on track. In addition we will be contacting the recipient companies to ensure that as far as possible the systems put in place are not unduly onerous and are fit for purpose. The contract is to run until April 2010. | |
